Biography

Dr. Chi-Hsiang Yeh

Chi-Hsiang Yeh received his B.Sc. degree from the Dept. of Electrical Eng., National Taiwan Univ., Taiwan, Republic of China, and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Dept. of Electrical and Computer Eng., Univ. of California, Santa Barbara, USA. He joined the faculty of the Dept of Electrical and Computer Eng., Queen's Univ., Canada, in 1999.

The research interests of Dr. Yeh include wireless networks, parallel/distributed systems, Internet, and security. He is the sole/first author for over 100 journal/conference papers in these areas. Dr. Yeh is the General Chair of the 2004 Int’l Conf. on Wireless Networks, and the Program Co-Chair of the same conference in 2002. He is an Editor, Associate Editor, or Guest Editor for a number of journals. Dr. Yeh has also organized several ICPP workshops, and served as a program committee member for many conferences, including Infocom, Globecom, ICC, WCNC, ICCCN, and VTC.

Current Research Interests

Wireless Networks, Internet, Parallel/Distributed Systems, Security, VLSI, and Grid Computing.

General Chair of the 2004 Int'l Conf. on Wireless Networks (ICWN'04), General Co-Chair of ICWN'03, Program Co-Chair of ICWN'02, USA.
Program Co-Chair for the Int'l Workshop on Optical Networks Control and Management (ONCM’03/04), in conjunction with the 32nd/33rd Int'l Conf. on Parallel Processing (ICPP’03/04).
Program committee member for many conferences, including Infocom, Globecom, ICC, WCNC, ICCCN, and VTC.
