The Department uses the ITServices e-mail system. An overview of the policies, services, and support are available here.
ITServices provides a number of e-mail features to users, including:
- IMAP mail protocol, which supports the saving of mail and folders on the server, simplifying access from multiple locations and providing secure storage for mail
- POP mail protocol
- The ITServices Storage Limits and fees are constantly being updated to reflect the demands of the users.
- Web mail interface

Every year, the department reviews its service agreement with ITServices and negotiates a renewal. It is our objective to upgrade the service to address evolving needs.

Q - I use Microsoft Outlook, but want my mail saved to my sent-mail folder using IMAP, how do I do that?
A - Most versions of Microsoft Outlook don't save mail to the IMAP sent-mail folder by default. Please contact ecetech@queensu.ca for assistance on configuring your Outlook client.
