In addition to academic pursuits, undergraduate students also have access to a wealth of extracurricular opportunities and experiences that contribute to the overall learning environment at Queen's University.

Undergraduate students in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering belong to the ECE Student Club that elects its own executive each year to plan and host a variety of activities such as BBQs and trips. Furthermore, all undergraduate students in the Faculty of Applied Science are served by the Queen's Engineering Society that is the student representative body and leader for student initiatives of various kinds. Finally, all undergraduate students at Queen's University are served by the Alma Mater Society that is the central undergraduate student government and umbrella organization for academic and extracurricular activities.

Technical
  • Students may also apply their technical abilities outside of their academic coursework in certain on-campus organizations.
  • Some organizations engage in competititions, such as the Queen's Solar Vehicle Team, whereas others are primarily for interest.
